The quiet luxury of not going anywhere

The best yoga of a holiday rarely happens in a taxi. It happens on the terrace while the garden wakes up, in the living room of a condo after a morning of work, by the pool of a villa before anyone else is up. NiyamaHome was built around that idea: a private session that arrives where you already are.

Nicha is a Thai yoga teacher certified by Yoga Alliance (200-hour) and trained in traditional Thai massage. She has taught for over a decade — first in Pai, then in Chiang Mai, and for several years in Bali, where most of her students were private clients. Years of private teaching in Bali taught her how to make any calm corner — a deck, a lawn, a cleared living room — feel like a practice space.

Where Nicha comes

  • Villas and pool villas — Mae Rim, Hang Dong, San Sai and the hills around the city
  • Condos and serviced apartments — Nimman, Santitham, Chang Phueak, the Old City
  • Airbnbs and family houses — anywhere in the city
  • Boutique hotels and resorts — if the hotel allows outside instructors (ask your front desk; most say yes)

Sessions happen wherever you are staying in Chiang Mai and the surrounding area, up to roughly 30 minutes away — the Old City, Nimman, Santitham, Chang Phueak, Mae Rim, San Sai and everything in between. Further out is possible with a travel supplement, quoted before you confirm.

What you need

  • Space: roughly 2 × 1 metres per person — a cleared living room, a terrace or a shaded patch of lawn.
  • Quiet: 75 minutes without interruptions. Phones on silent.
  • Clothes: anything comfortable you can move in.
  • Mats: mention in your request whether you have mats where you are staying, and Nicha will tell you how she can help.
  • Shade or air: in the hot season, an air-conditioned room is kinder than a sunny terrace.

Ways people use it

  • A morning ritual for your stay — two or three sessions a week while you are in town (packs bring the price to THB 1,900 a session).
  • A family or friends' class — up to six people at the same price. See group yoga.
  • Recovery after trekking or long flights — swap a class for a Thai Yoga Massage at your villa.
  • A remote-work reset — a lunchtime or after-work session at your condo instead of another hour at the screen.
  • A special occasion — a birthday, an anniversary or a quiet day for a group of friends.

Price

THB 2,500 per 75-minute session for up to six people, with a first trial class at THB 2,000. Packs of 5 or 10 sessions bring it to THB 1,900 per session. Travel within about 30 minutes is included. Full details in private yoga prices in Chiang Mai.

Questions, answered honestly

Can a yoga teacher come to my hotel in Chiang Mai?

Yes, as long as your hotel allows outside instructors — most do. Ask the front desk, then mention the hotel in your booking request.

Do you come to Airbnbs and condos?

Yes. Villas, condos, Airbnbs, houses and serviced apartments are all fine. You only need a little floor space and some quiet.

How far do you travel?

Anywhere within roughly 30 minutes of Chiang Mai is included. Further out, a travel supplement is quoted before you confirm.

Can my whole group join?

Yes — up to six people for the same price.

Can I book a Thai Yoga Massage at my villa?

Yes. Thai Yoga Massage is also given at your place, on a mat on the floor, fully clothed.

Stay where you are. The practice is coming.
